AdsBender Pricing

CPA, CPC and CPM Pricing: Which Model Fits Your Campaign

Every campaign on AdsBender is billed one of three ways: per thousand impressions, per click, or per completed action. Pick the one that matches how much you already know about your offer, then set a bid and a budget you are comfortable with.

How to choose between CPM, CPC and CPA

The three models differ in one thing: who carries the risk that the traffic doesn't perform. All three are available on every ad format you can choose in the campaign builder.

CPA, CPC and CPM compared by what you pay for, when you are billed, the risk to the advertiser and what each is best for.

CPA

Cost per actionCPA in the glossary

Best for: Offers with a proven funnel and a short path from click to conversion.

CPA lets you pay for a result instead of an audience. AdsBender records every click with a click ID, and you are charged only when your tracker or server reports that click as converted. It suits offers you have already proven, such as an install or a signup with few steps in between. Set up the postback before you launch: without it, conversions can't be matched back to clicks.

Not sure the funnel converts yet? Run the first campaign on CPM, see what the traffic does, then move the next one to CPA.

How CPA works on AdsBender

  • Your bid is the price you pay per conversion.
  • AdsBender adds the click ID to your landing-page address as click_id. When that click converts, your server sends the ID back to us, with a conversion value if you track one.
  • Each click can convert once; a repeated postback for the same click is ignored.
  • You are not charged for impressions or for clicks.
  • Set your own bid for individual countries; any country you leave alone uses your default bid.

CPC

Cost per clickCPC in the glossary

Best for: Campaigns judged on clicks, with a landing page that already converts.

With CPC you pay when someone clicks and at no other point. It works when clicks are the number you are optimising for, or when you have already seen your landing page turn visitors into customers. A click that doesn't convert still costs money, so the page behind the ad matters as much as the ad itself.

Check the landing page on mobile before you launch; a strong click-through rate only pays off if the page can convert it.

  • Your bid is the price you pay per click.
  • You are not charged for impressions, only for clicks.
  • Set your own bid for individual countries; any country you leave alone uses your default bid.

CPM

Cost per thousandCPM in the glossary

Best for: Testing a new country or traffic source, and funnels with several steps before the conversion.

CPM buys exposure. Your bid is the price for every 1,000 times the ad is shown, and it is charged as impressions are served. That makes it the natural way to test: a new country, a new traffic source, or a funnel that needs a few steps before anyone converts. You learn how the traffic behaves before committing to a price per result, but you carry the risk, because impressions cost the same whether or not anyone acts.

Give a test enough budget to show a pattern, and compare countries one at a time so you know what moved the result.

How CPM works on AdsBender

  • Your bid is the price you pay per 1,000 impressions.
  • You are charged as impressions are served, whether or not anyone clicks.
  • Set your own bid for individual countries; any country you leave alone uses your default bid.

Bids and budgets

  • You choose the model and the ad format when you create the campaign. For the format you pick, the builder shows a starting rate for each model, and the bid is yours to set.
  • The smallest bid is $0.01, whether you pay per click, per 1,000 impressions or per conversion.
  • A campaign's total budget starts at $10, and you can add a daily budget to pace the spend.
  • You fund your wallet with PayPal and Razorpay, from $0.10 per top-up. To launch, the wallet needs at least the campaign's total budget free, and never less than $10.
  • Every campaign is reviewed before it goes live.
