Cookie Policy

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. This policy covers the cookies AdsBender sets on adsbender.com, and how things work when AdsBender serves an ad on a publisher’s site. Read it together with our Privacy Policy.

Cookies on adsbender.com

This is the complete list — adsbender.com does not set any other cookie.

CookieTypeWhat it doesDuration
tokenEssentialKeeps you signed in to your advertiser, publisher or admin dashboard.About 1 hour, for as long as your login session is active (httpOnly, cleared on logout).

The token cookie is essential — it’s how the site knows you’re signed in, and it can’t be switched off without signing you out. We do not set an analytics, advertising, or preferences cookie on adsbender.com today.

Logging in also runs a Cloudflare Turnstile check to block scripted sign-ups and logins. Turnstile runs in a frame served from Cloudflare’s own challenges.cloudflare.com, so any cookie it sets while checking you’re not a bot belongs to Cloudflare’s domain, not adsbender.com.

Cookies when AdsBender serves an ad

The ad server does not set a cookie in your browser. To limit how often you see the same ad, it uses a one-way hash of your IP address and browser details on our own servers instead — there is nothing stored in your browser for this. Impressions, clicks and conversions used for advertiser billing and publisher payouts are also counted on our servers, not with a cookie.

The ad code on a publisher’s page may keep a flag in your browser’s session storage (not a cookie) so a pop-up or full-screen ad isn’t shown again during the same visit; it’s cleared when you close the tab. See Privacy Policy – People Who See Ads Served by AdsBender for what’s collected when an ad is shown.

How to control cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the token cookie will sign you out and stop you from staying signed in to a dashboard; it has no effect on the publisher site you were on, since AdsBender doesn’t set a cookie there.

Changes to this policy

If we ever add a cookie — for analytics, remembered preferences, or anything else — it will be added to the table above with its real name and duration before it ships, and the “Last updated” date will change.
